GenieX device check
GenieX is MJ's own browser tool. To show websites real computers, it needs the values real computers have. If you agree, this page reads your computer's values and, only when you press Send, sends them to MJ.
What is read
- Operating system and its version; the processor's core count; memory
- Graphics card name and its WebGL and WebGPU values
- Screen size, colour depth and pixel ratio
- Which common fonts are installed; audio and speech voice details; browser storage and battery facts
- Which video and audio formats play, and which the graphics card decodes; display preferences such as dark mode
- Your keyboard layout (what a few keys print) and how many microphones, speakers and cameras there are, not their names
- Which video-call codecs the browser offers (no call is made), its estimate of your connection speed, your Windows colours and system fonts, privacy settings, plugins, and permission states (only read, never asked)
- Your country (Cloudflare tells it from the connection), time zone, languages and date and number format
What is never read or kept
- Your name, email, accounts, files, browsing history or passwords
- Your IP address, city, street or exact position
Nothing leaves this page until you press Send. You can see everything before you send it, or only download the file and send it yourself. The values go to a private store only MJ can read, and are used to make GenieX's device library.
